The Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Do you have an innovative idea to address pressing social or environmental challenges? The Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025 invites individuals and teams from Belgium to develop and scale solutions that align with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Social entrepreneurs play a crucial role in shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future. As the World Economic Forum (2020) highlights, "Social entrepreneurs and other front-line actors have a key role to play and need to be given greater prominence and support." This challenge offers the opportunity to develop, refine, and showcase your social enterprise, with expert coaching, networking, and funding opportunities.
Who Can Participate?
Individuals or teams with a social impact idea.
Projects at any stage of development, from Belgium.

Join us in Brussels on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 for the Final Pitch Event of the Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025. Selected teams will present their ventures to an audience of social entrepreneurs, academics, investors, and ecosystem actors.
This hybrid event features:
– Inspiring social impact pitches
– An award ceremony
– Networking with like-minded changemakers

Teams selected from the submission round will be invited to exclusive one-on-one coaching sessions. Receive personalized feedback on your idea or project and refine your vision with expert support.
Online Bootcamps
12 - 18 May
Through a series of bootcamps, participants will gain valuable insights, sharpen their strategies, and take their ideas to the next level.
In person pitching event
June
Teams will compete amongst each other for the most popular idea in front of a judge of impact investors and experts.
